DinoDome opened  05.2009
The opening of the DinoDome was a spectacular occasion attended by a large assembly of primary school pupils. The children quickly climbed to the 14 metre high top of the climbing jungle, where they could almost touch the head of a realistically modelled Brachiosaurus. The DinoDome promises to be a popular attraction, not only for families with children but also for companies who will find a range of congress and conference facilities there.  project

Arc2 in Casla exhibition   05.2009
Arc2's dome projects made up part of the De Gedroomde Wereld, Utopische Momenten (“The Dreamed World. Utopian Moments”) in Casla, the architectural museum of Almere. The exhibition gave a prominent place to scale models of the geodesic domes and the full-size replica of a hub. The timber-built geodesic domes were supplied by GeoDome Design, a collaborative venture of Arc2 Architects with the engineering consultancy Lüning. Emil Lüning is the technical brain behind these fascinating structures.   www

ShowOffice opens in Breukelen  01.2009
The ShowOffice has been officially taken into occupation by the new owners of the commercial units. The building’s dramatic atrium is clearly an ideal place for festive gatherings and the delivery of speeches from the balcony. Its acoustics have proved well suited to musical performance: Marion Eggen (flute) and Jean-Pierre Biemond (trumpet) gave a superb concert.    project
